Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Diode Wiring Kit. And the main reason for installing diodes here at the back, it'll allow all your motor home signals to come from your motor home's seven-way connector and illuminate this light. But if you we're to just wire it up without diodes, it would not only illuminate the light, but it would also backfeed on your circuitry and potentially damage components on the vehicle. The diodes act is a one-way check file for electricity that will let it go from our motor home to our light, but it will not let it go back down our factory wiring and effect anything on our vehicle.
